I have worked for USA Today, Samsung News, MSNBC, NBC News, CBS, Yahoo!, and other media outlets. I have a Master of Arts degree in specialized journalism from the University of Southern California and hold undergraduate degrees in political science, literature, and music from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
I founded Nā Lei Hilo, a free monthly newsletter and digital community that aims to connect Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders living in the diaspora with virtual and in-person programs, events, and cultural resources.
